In Dubai there is a dedicated happiness department that is responsible of evaluating the happiness levels of the population and a portuguese IT team developed an application to fulfill that task.

With this application the Dubai government is able to measure the happiness ratings of their citizens. Also, the application is capable of recalling information about health, housing and region based happiness.

The application has forms with several questions, for example, “Do you feel medical staff by hand?” or “Do you consider that municipalities work fine?”, explains Jorge Ramos, Project Manager of the portuguese enterprise TIMWETECH Lab, based in the city of Covilhã, Portugal.
